Hair Transplant Pay Monthly: How The Plans Work

Most people who come to us ask about spreading the cost before they ask about anything else, which is understandable. A hair transplant is a significant amount of money to find in one go, and paying monthly is how the majority of our patients actually do it.
Here is how it works, what it costs, and what to know before you commit to anything.
What a hair transplant costs to begin with
Most hair transplants fall between £3,000 and £7,000. The figure is set by how many grafts you need, which is why nobody can give you an accurate price over the phone. It comes out of the assessment.
Spread over a payment plan, that typically works out from £70 a month. Payments generally range from £50 to £200 a month depending on how much you want to pay up front and how quickly you want the agreement to finish.
How the payment plans work
- You have a free assessment first, so you know the actual price rather than a range
- A deposit reserves your procedure date
- The balance is spread over a term of 12 to 60 months
- The quote you are given after your assessment is the price you pay. It includes your aftercare and products
All finance is subject to status and affordability, and treatment is subject to medical suitability. Neither is a formality: we turn people down for both.
Does paying monthly change anything about the treatment?
No. The procedure, the surgeon, the aftercare and the written guarantee are identical whether you pay in one go or monthly. There is no cheaper tier and no different standard of service, and it makes no difference to how your case is planned.
Is it worth it?
That depends entirely on whether surgery is the right answer for you at all, which is a separate question from how you pay for it. Around 40% of the people we assess turn out to be suitable for a hair transplant. For the rest, non-surgical treatment from around £25 a month is often the better route, and for some people the honest answer is that nothing will give them the result they want.
We would rather tell you that than sign you up to a five year agreement for a procedure that was never going to work.
