Is it more painful than a hair transplant?
Slightly, because the anaesthetic goes into the forehead rather than the scalp and the skin there is thinner. Patients tend to describe it as more uncomfortable than botox but less than lip fillers. The average pain score is around 5 out of 10, against 3 for a scalp transplant.
Will the hair grow like eyebrow hair?
Not at first. Because the hair comes from your scalp it initially grows continuously and needs trimming. Over a few months it gains memory and settles into behaving like brow hair. You also train the direction by brushing with a small tool we provide.
Is the aftercare different?
